Set up CodeYam
Everything you need before your first project. Two routes end in the same place — pick the one that matches how you want to work, install what it needs, and stop at the point where CodeYam opens. Whichever you pick is three or four lessons, not all five.
Two ways in. Pick either one.
Neither is the advanced version of the other — they end in the same place.
- Set up with Claude DesktopThe track with no terminal in it. Install the Claude Desktop app, add the CodeYam extension, and open your first project from inside Claude. You need to be signed in to an account with access to Claude Code, which is on pretty much any paid subscription.3 lessons·≈ 8 min
- Set up in your terminalThe track that runs in your terminal, and the one that works with Codex and Gemini as well as Claude Code. It assumes a subscription that gives you one of them. Shown on a Mac. On Windows you open PowerShell instead of Terminal, and the commands themselves are the same.3 lessons·≈ 10 min
