These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CodeYam's GitHub App, CLI tool, website, and related services ("Services"). The Services are provided by Nod Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation, doing business as CodeYam ("CodeYam," "we," "us").
By using CodeYam, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to agree to these Terms (including on behalf of your company, if applicable).
CodeYam provides developer tools including our GitHub App, CLI, web dashboard, and APIs to help you build better software faster.
Your Responsibility: Keep your account secure and accurate. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
GitHub Integration: When you install our GitHub App, you're granting us the minimum permissions needed to provide our features. We only access what you authorize.
CLI Telemetry: Our CLI collects basic usage data to help us improve the tool. You can opt out anytime with codeyam config disable-telemetry.
Don't do anything harmful, illegal, or that breaks other services' terms (especially GitHub's). This includes:
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Your Code: You own your code. We don't claim any ownership over your repositories or intellectual property.
Our Tools: We own CodeYam's software, features, and improvements. Some parts may use open source components with their own licenses.
Some features cost money. We'll charge you through payment providers like Stripe. Fees are generally non-refundable. We may update pricing - if you're on a paid plan, we'll let you know before changes affect you.
CodeYam is provided "as is" without warranties. We work hard to keep things running smoothly, but we can't guarantee perfect uptime or that everything will work exactly as you expect.
If something goes wrong, our liability is capped at $100 or what you've paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater. We're not responsible for indirect damages or lost profits.
You: Stop using CodeYam anytime. Paid subscriptions end at your current billing period.
Us: We may terminate access if you break these Terms or use CodeYam harmfully.
When your account ends, your access stops and we may delete your data after a reasonable time.
We may update these Terms as we grow and improve CodeYam. Check back occasionally - continued use means you accept any changes.
These Terms are governed by Delaware law. Any disputes go to Delaware courts.
